1. How do I order?
You can place an order through our website by selecting the products you want, adding them to your cart, and proceeding to checkout. You can also order by phone or visit our SweetCrate store in the MetroCentre, Gateshead.
2. How long does delivery take?
We use a priority 24–48 hour service to ensure your freshly baked items are delivered as quickly as possible! Please note that if you select a preferred delivery date, this is not guaranteed.
3. Which courier do you use?
We use a mix of couriers including DPD and Royal Mail Tracked 24. The courier for your order will depend on factors such as weight and order size.
4. I have a problem with my delivery, what should I do?
We’re sorry to hear that! If your product is damaged or has an issue, please take a photo and contact us at info@snacktimeuk.shop You can also reach us via live chat, call 02893603359, or complete the form on our Contact Us page. For courier delays, please check your tracking information first. If the issue persists, contact us and our team will assist you.
5. I have a discount code, how do I use it?
Enter your discount code at checkout and click “Apply” to activate it. Only one code can be used per order.
6. The item I want is out of stock. How often do you restock?
We produce stock 5 days a week, so flavours are restocked daily. Click the “Notify Me” button on a product page to be alerted when it’s back in stock. Seasonal products may not restock weekly.
7. Is there a minimum order for delivery?
There is no minimum order, but free shipping is available on orders over £5. Free shipping is unavailable to some locations including Northern Ireland.
8. Can I purchase gift vouchers?
Yes! SweetCrate gift cards can be purchased online and sent directly to the recipient’s email for a sweet surprise.
9. Can I order for corporate events?
Absolutely! We provide bulk orders for corporate events, employee gifts, and meetings. Contact us for a bespoke proposal.
10. I made a mistake with my order. What should I do?
Please contact us via our Contact Us page with the details. We will try to correct the order. If your order has already shipped, fees may apply for reshipping.
11. Can I include a gift note?
Yes! Enter your message in the “Order Note” field in the basket and we will include it with your order.
12. Why haven’t I received free delivery?
Free delivery is available on orders of £5+ but is not available to Northern Ireland and some other locations.
13. How much is delivery?
Delivery costs: £3.99 for England & Wales, £4.99 for Scotland, and £5.99 for Northern Ireland. We do not ship to Isle of Man or Jersey.
Ingredients & Dietary Information
1. Are your products vegetarian or vegan?
All products are suitable for vegetarians except those containing marshmallows (e.g., Rocky Road or S’mores). None of our products are vegan.
2. Do you have gluten-free options?
Currently we do not have a separate gluten-free production area, so cannot offer gluten-free guarantees. We may consider this as we expand.
3. Do you provide allergen information?
Yes, each product page lists all ingredients and allergens, and the packaging also includes this information.
4. Do you use real butter or margarine?
We only use real butter and high-quality, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
5. Are your cookies made fresh?
Yes! Every batch is freshly baked using premium ingredients for the best flavour and texture.
6. Do your cookies contain nuts?
Some products contain nuts. We aim to avoid cross-contamination, but due to the variety of nuts in our kitchen, all products may contain traces of nuts.
7. Do you use pre-mixed cookie dough?
No, all dough is made in-house using traditional recipes with high-quality ingredients like light brown sugar and British unsalted butter.
8. How many calories do your products contain?
Deluxe Cookies: approx. 630 calories per cookie. Cookie Pies: approx. 1000 calories per pie.
Storage & Freshness
1. Can cookies be frozen?
Yes, products can be frozen for up to 3 months. See our blog for freezing tips.
2. How long do products last?
Refer to the product listing. We recommend consuming fresh items within 1–2 days of receipt. Each product has a “best before” date, typically 5–13 days from receipt. Products can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
3. How should I store cookies or cookie pies?
Store in an airtight container, wrap in cling film, or keep in the original packaging. Keep in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is not necessary.
Custom Orders & Gifts
1. Can I request no pricing information in a gift order?
Yes, no pricing information is included in gift orders. Only a packing slip with item details is included.
2. Do you sell gifts?
Yes! We offer a variety of gift options, including our 6-Cookie Gift Box bundle in branded SweetCrate packaging.
